My career has included work with state and local government, nonprofit organizations, public-health programs, behavioral-health initiatives, schools, health councils, faith communities, coalitions, associations, community collaboratives, and rural and frontier communities.

Much of that work has required bringing together organizations with different priorities, funding requirements, institutional cultures, and community responsibilities and helping them develop a workable path forward.

The value of that experience is not simply the number of projects completed. It means I understand what it is like to operate inside the systems I now help clients navigate.

I have managed grants rather than only advised people about them. I have led coalitions statewide rather than only facilitating their meetings. I have worked within organizations facing limited resources, competing priorities, reporting requirements, leadership changes, community expectations, and the practical realities that can make implementation considerably harder than planning.

That perspective is central to Movement Consulting.
